Mooton was commissioned to create a dynamic, multi-functional play space design for the Jiangbeizui No.5 residential community in Chongqing, China. This 490-square-meter project skillfully integrates recreational and fitness elements into an urban setting, demonstrating our expertise in developing tailored community amenities that promote active living for all ages.
Spanning 150 sqm, this zone is centered around a custom-designed multi-activity play structure. The design intelligently connects to existing site topography via an elevated "sky walk," linking to a platform enhanced with a playful treehouse and decorative windmill feature. This thoughtful play space design adds a layer of whimsy and adventure, encouraging imaginative outdoor play.
This 340-sqm area showcases an innovative approach to vertical play space design, featuring a diverse range of age-inclusive equipment. Younger children enjoy the interactive Hula Wall and whisper tubes, while older youth and adults benefit from dedicated fitness stations including waist twisters, sit-up benches, and Tai Chi wheels. The curved design language creates visual harmony, while custom branding elements strengthen community identity.
